McMurray CS Kim Karate needs your help

McMurray CS Kim Karate needs your help.

Like countless small businesses, CS Kim Karate of McMurray has had to shut down from March of last year until the end of August.  Allowed to open at limited capacity. Then shut down again December to January.
There has been no relief for business such as gyms, karate studios, dance, etc.

We are asking today for your support to keep this studio open.

CS Kim Karate is not just a karate school.  The owner, Dean Kelly, has been instrumental in the community.  He has gone to schools to help kids as well as provide a much-needed place for parents who have children with disabilities to come for structure and relief.

What has taken years for these students to build up confidence has been stripped away and they must begin again.  For students with ADHD, Autism and Social Anxiety, this is extremely difficult to rebuild.  They need to be back and have structure  to rebuild their confidence.

This is not just a karate school.  It is not just about the exercise.  It is a place of great mental release, healing, a place where those whose stress of jobs, school, and medical conditions can work out their frustrations so they can go home and relax.    All that are part of the CS Kim of McMurray are a supportive extended family.  Anyone who knows Master Kelly can testify that he is a friend, an uncle, a fill in father, and a brother to everyone.  Always willing to help and knows his students so well he just steps in without the asking.

And now the last straw; the owner of the building where CS Kim Karate of McMurray is located has decided to sell, and CS Kim Karate of McMurray must find a new location.   At a time when no funds are coming in it is difficult to find something suitable within the time frame required by the end of his lease.  However,  Master Kelly was able to find a piece of land he can build a karate studio on close to the current location, but there are no loans available to purchase land.

CS Kim Karate of McMurray has been built from scratch by Dean Kelly and has been the sole support for his family for the past 25 years.  It is his livelihood and his legacy for his children.  Sadly, just like many small businesses in PA his entire life savings has been poured into the attempt to keep the business open.

Would you be willing to help to build a new home for his extended family of over 150.  Not only will he be grateful but so will his students.
