Hi, my name is Katrina Garrod and I’m fundraising for my brother, Kyler Mcmillin and his family. On May 21, 2022 Kyler suffered life threatening injuries after being ejected from a four-wheeler. Kyler was life flighted to Missoula, Montana where he sustained multiple injuries including hemothorax (when blood collects between the chest wall and lungs), a broken humerus (10 screws), a broken tibia & fibula (full length rod placed outside tibia/fibula), a broken femur (full length rod placed inside femur), plus multiple other injuries resulting in screws and plates placed in his knee and ankle. Kyler is the sole provider for his family, consisting of his fiancé (Kaitlyn) and his three young daughters (Ainzlee, Emberlynn, and Scarlett). Kyler had just received a promotion for his hard work and was looking forward to celebrating his upcoming marriage planned for June 16th, 2022. The prognosis for Kyler remains steady currently. He will need time to recover from the major surgeries and traumas his body has sustained. After some time, the doctors will determine if he can return home to Helena, or if he will need to be in a long-term physical therapy recovery center. This tragedy is extremely concerning for a family with one income, and although we are are SO VERY thankful that we still have Kyler here on earth with us, the imminent thought of how the family will survive financially is troublesome. Please help me spread the word about my brother and his family, who are some of the most generous people you will ever meet. They are not type of family who would ever ask for handouts, but right now they could use the financial assistance more than ever.
