Emergency Surgery needed

My close friend Ulana "Yogi" (who is an amazing person, artist and all around human) has a very rare form of cancer in her face. The foremost specialist is at WiIls Eye institute in Philadelphia. Her Insurance is not accepted by this surgeon and the emergency surgery costs $51,000. The surgeon will not perform the surgery without the full amount upfront.
I am starting this GFM page to help raise the money for the surgery. I HAVE NEVER asked anyone for a dime ever, but I am reaching out to all of you to help me save my friend. SHE NEEDS THIS SURGERY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

I have a malignant tumor growing to the side of my right eye. They call it malignant melanoma. My tumor is rare and difficult to get to. It's aggressive. They say I will not lose my eye, but that the surgery will be dangerous nonetheless. I am scared and I feel as if I am standing on the edge of the abyss. There are world class doctors right over the bridge that I met with today, but they don't take my insurance, so we (my original eye care team and I) are scrambling over here trying to figure out what to do. Thank you to friends and family who have been so kind to me. Your support is so appreciated. I really need your prayers now, if that's ok. Also, any advice with insurance companies is appreciated.
