The McMahons adopted Stormee back in 2020 after losing their first dog Ace in 2017. Stormee brought a light back into their lives that they didn't even know they were missing. To endless laughs from her love of candy, to face-palms at her silly nature. Stormee is a big part of their family.
A couple of years ago, the vet told them Stormee was in the beginning stages of a collapsed trachea, but the only option was to put her on medication to prolong the effects. However just last month, Stormee's trachea is no longer able to be put off, and she needs surgery or she's at increased risk of seizures that could potentially be fatal. The vet told the McMahons that a typical trachea is about the size of a hotdog (give or take), and hers is about the size of a flattened plastic straw.
The surgery needed, a simple procedure, is still $10,000 upfront. While the McMahons are hard workers, that is a lot of money for anyone. Anything would be appreciated. Please help them save their baby.
