Support for Jason McKissock and family

I'm a close family friend of the McKissocks, and wanted to create a way for those who love and care about Jason, Blair and their three amazing girls to show their support. Jason put up an incredible battle against a cancerous brain tumor which became untreatable, and he recently entered hospice care. He passed away peacefully on September 17, 2021. It's so hard to process...but if you're feeling as helpless as I am in this situation, one thing we can do is provide some financial support. Blair plans to use the funds primarily for the girls’ college educations because that is so important to Jason (who the first in his family to earn a college degree) - and donations will also help her set up their new place so it feels more like home.

 

 

As Blair said on Jason's CaringBridge page, "Whenever I asked him what he wanted in life or if he had other things he wanted to do, he always replied that he just wanted his family to be happy. He loved what he did for a living and it was his gift to us to be able to make things the way we wanted. It was an amazing gift...We love you all so much and are so grateful for you.... I pray for God to wrap their arms around Jason."
