Hi, My name is Cayla McKinnon and on 3-13-24 my Husband Philip and our 7 year old Son Fynn were involved in a horrible 4 Wheeling accident where they had to be air lifted to two different hospitals Emergency Trauma Unit for care as they were both in critical condition. The extent to both of their injuries are severe. Philip has broken all his bones in his face and doctors have sedated him but recently backed off the sedation some in effort to get more of a reaction out of him and get a better scope of his injuries and make adjustement to improve his healing process. He was able to wiggle his toes to show us he is fighting.

Fynn recently came off of the Ventilator and is breathing on his own now. He is in a lot of pain and doctors are aiming to keep him as still as they can to improve his recovery. He seems to be starting to remember things and is asking about his dad while going through his own pain. He is a strong child! Due to the extent of their injuries and my family being shattered right now.

We can use all the help we can get. As you know the bills don't stop coming which is the last thing i want to be concerned about right now being I am stretching myself thin for my loves spending countless sleepless hours between both hospitals and trying to be there for them the best I can. We have no idea when and even if my husband Philip will ever be the same. Philip also is our families main and only source of income so him being down really puts us in a bind.

So we are asking if its on your heart to please donate whatever you can so the financial burden that comes with this is lifted while we work on putting our family back together again. I love my Husband and Son dearly and its moments like these where you realize all the little things you miss the most. Their smiles, laughs, the bad times, the good times, them!
