McKinney Main Street has announced its 2nd annual fundraising campaign called a McKinney Christmas Tree – A Gift to the Community, which will raise funds to cover the cost of importing the live 34' Blue Spruce tree from Michigan. Donations of all sizes are accepted to help bring this tree to McKinney. For a tax deductible donation of $50 to the campaign, families and organizations will receive recognition at the Christmas tree display throughout the holidays. The first 100 donors who contribute a minimum of $50 will receive a commemorative keepsake ornament.

The campaign is supported by corporate sponsor First United Bank , who generously donated to the McKinney Christmas Tree – A Gift to the Community campaign.
