My cousin, her husband, two children and fur babies barely escaped from the Camp fire. They have lost their home in Paradise, California along with all of their possessions. We had NO warning NO evacuation orders . Thursday at 10 am exactly. I am sure minutes before the house caught fire, power lines were blowing up, as we drove down the wrong side of Skyway to get out. The poor officers were not going to sway us from going down. He had a look of shear panic at the fire wall and people coming his direction. Traffic was at a stop/crawl going down the right way. All I could do was drive forward and scream oh my god all these people. Oh my god. There was no where to go. As we dodged cars coming up attempting to rescue a loved one. I am SO heartbroken for those who lost life. hold those you love close and we will get through this. Hoping the moments get better. I just keep hugging my kids so happy they are here." Please consider helping. Anything is appreciated. They have nothing and have to start over. This tragedy, loss and trauma are indescribable.
