I'm starting this GoFundMe for my mother and father, Joanne and Paul Nott and their 7 sons. A family who like so many others in Willow, have lost so much in this terrible tragedy
Our hard working father who's a veteran, and our even harder working mother came to Alaska in the spring of 77 to live the Alaskan dream, and they worked tirelessly for decades providing for their family. My father was a professional flooring installer and master do-it-youselfer , and passed those skills to his sons who continued the business long after his retirement. My and my brothers hearts are breaking not so much for ourselves , but for our mother and father who lost everything that a 40 year marriage accumulates... There was no word on how close the fire was to us and before we knew it, a 50 ft wall of flames was at our door step. Most of us left with just the clothes we were wearing. We had nine family members living in four separate structures which were all burned to the ground. Unfortunately we have no insurance of any kind. Not only did we lose all our homes, trailers and connexes etc..we also lost all the tools of our trade and equipment as well. We're beyond thankful to any kind hearted people who may wish to help us have the financial capability to re-acquire the means and materials we need so we can begin to rebuild from the ashes.
If anyone feels better about send money by other means , I have Venmo and a Mat Vally Federal Credit Union bank account.
