As some of you may know Mckenzie(Roo) got admitted to Children’s Mercy Hospital at Wesley Sunday night. Madison went down stairs and found Kenzie laying on her bedroom floor unable to move. We called the ambulance and got her told Wesley. Kenzie is unable to move her legs, arms, and neck. After several test the doctors are thinking 1 of 2 things that could have happened. At first they were leaning towards transverse myelitis, but after several tests they’re now leaning towards a stroke in her spinal cord. With that being said Kenzie has a long road ahead of her. We’re not sure how long we will be in the hospital, nor do we know how long her recovery will be. The doctors did say that once she gets out of the hospital she will have to go straight to a rehab facility. Right now she is in the ICU and only myself and her dad are allowed up here to see/ be with her. We’re absolutely heartbroken and could use some prayers. It has been very rough the last few days for her and she is in a lot pain. I will do my best to try to keep everyone updated. Mckenzie is a very sweet girl. Always laughing and smiling, playing with her brothers. She loves softball and Tik Tok! Anything you can donate to help Ashley would mean the world. Ashley is not working at the moment and good use all the hopes and prayers. We've got a long road ahead of us, but Mckenzie is very strong and will get through this. Thanks you all!
