McKenna Mortimer's fight for life

Hello, lovely friends. As some of you may know, our precious McKenna (13) has struggled with an extreme lack of self-worth, self-harm and just being a teenager in a cruel world. In addition, she is having some major medical and mental health conditions, resulting in many hospital stays and tests. She is being admitted into a residential program that will keep her in an inpatient facility for at least a month because of recent attempts to run away (all planned out and paid for) and suicide attempts. We have decided she is safer in full-time care and this will hopefully give us some concrete answers instead of a dozen different diagnoses given by a dozen different doctors. Insurance is giving us a hard time and will only cover a piece of her medical costs. We want to be able to give her the help she needs and don't want insurance to stop her from getting the appropriate care. We hate asking for help, but want to help our amazing McKenna live and thrive in life. We appreciate your love and prayers and we love you all so very much. Thank you!
