This is McKenna Garcia. She is a beautiful, sassy, tough, and loving 20-year-old girl who was born with a rare condition called CFC Syndrome. She may be small but she is one of the strongest people that has ever been placed on this earth!

On December 11th, McKenna was taken to the hospital for labored breathing and tested positive for RSV. From December 11th to Jan 13th, she stayed at 2 different hospitals and was intubated at each hospital. The teams at each hospital did their best to take care of her and she was finally able to come home and celebrate Christmas, 33 days later.

On February 16th, McKenna was rushed back to the hospital to be diagnosed with pneumonia. Since then, McKenna has been slowly recovering but has had numerous setbacks. She has stayed in 4 hospitals, taken 3 ambulance rides, gone through 6 intubations, multiple EKGs, seizures, hundreds of needle sticks, even a code blue when she extubated herself.

For the last 53 days and counting, she has never been left alone. Her parents have stayed by her side as much as they possibly can but unfortunately, that means they have had to also miss a lot of work. McKenna and her family are loved by so many and continued support would help them tremendously.

This funds raised from this campaign will go directly the help McKenna’s family to continue to stay by her side as they travel over 100 miles to and from the hospital each day. Thank you for all of the continued love, support, and prayers for McKenna and her family!
