Meg runs Boston for Franklin Park!

On April 20, I will be running 26.2 at the Boston Marathon for the Franklin Park Coalition, a neighborhood park that promotes community, public safety and provides cultural activities for it's neighbors.

Running Boston has always been a dream of mine and I am so excited to do so while becoming a greater part of my community and raising money for a terrific neighborhood asset.

The Boston marathon is shrouded in history and tradition, with it's inaugural race in 1897. It's noted as a top marathon in the world and each year thousands of runners apply to run on behalf of a charity. I was elated and honored to hear I was selected to represent and run for Franklin Park.

Like Central & Prospect parks in New York City, Franklin Park was created by Frederick Law Olmstead in the late 1880's and has been a community asset to the Greater Boston area for more that a century.

FPC relies on funding from its runners to continue public programming in an underprivileged  neighborhood that relies on its outreach.

Please help me help FPC continue to provide health & fitness and youth activities, as well as festivals, entertainment and culutral activities at it's 500+ acres!

And rest assured, I will be more than prepared for Heartbreak Hill :)
