This all started New Year’s Eve. McKayla noticed a bump on her chest just at that point we didn’t think anything to crazy. She went to see a doctor a few days after that they said it was a cyst and started her on antibiotics. They said if it doesn’t go down in three or four days to come back. Obviously it did not shrink. She went back they had her all set up to have it removed still thinking a cyst. The Doctor Who was going to remove it refused, he said there’s no way he can do that it was too big at this point. She went and had an x-ray a CT scan and two ultrasounds. They are sending heJr to the cancer center at this point. As you can imagine just hearing that was scary but we try to stay positive in hopes that that isn’t at all what we’re dealing with. McKayla  was scheduled for her first biopsy. The short version she is now diagnosed with classic Hodgkin’s lymphoma stage2. Because she has to do two cycles a Chemo they believe she won’t be able to have children. We are starting the process Of freezing her eggs. And her insurance will not cover any of it. The doctor that we are using has been wonderful and getting us the help we need and being wonderful with her. We are asking for anything that you are willing to donate to ensure Mckayla‘s chances of one day being a mom. And with hopes that one day when she is ready that she will have a little money set aside to help her start the process then. I absolutely hate the thought of this process following her and dictating her having a family of her own. Anyone who knows McKayla knows how much she want to be a mom and how much she loves kids.
