In memory of Bill Watkins
Donation protected
I'm not even sure what I should say, as I am personally still in shock. Please forgive this tribute and all the commas to come as I find myself typing and erasing over and over. It's proving very difficult for me to put into words just how amazing, kind and wonderful this man, husband, father, grandfather (Papa), son, brother and friend my dad, Bill Watkins, was to me, my husband, my sons, my brothers, my mom, his family, his friends, his co-workers and quite frankly everyone who came across his path.
If you have found this page you most likely already know Bill/ Billy/ William, however you may have called him, if you met him you loved him! We all knew him as the man who never met a stranger. We knew him as the person you could always count on. The man we admired, looked up to, asked for his advice and opinions and the man we just wanted to be around because he made the day that much better. He was always ready for any adventure and with a huge smile on his face, just happy to be wherever the day brought him. Bill Watkins was the most kind, generous, smart (my goodness his math skills!!), funny man I have ever met and I find myself so lucky to not only have known him, but to have been raised by him along side my absolutely wonderful mother, Vicki Watkins. I will miss everything about him and quite possibly the most is the way his face would light up seeing his grandbabies, he would move Heaven and Earth if he could to be with them, talk to them, play with them and just hold onto them. I could go on and on but shortly said is that Dad: You were loved more than you may realize by everyone who knew you, and you will be forever loved by all of us! We all miss you so terribly!
My dad was taken from this world suddenly and unexpectedly. As he was only 62, he had not quite retired and the last thing I want my mom to worry about is where any funds may be coming from to pay for this sudden shock and great loss.
If you feel like you may be able to contribute, ANY amount will be greatly appreciated. I honestly just guessed at an amount as my mom is unaware that I am starting this GoFundMe for her.
Thank you all just even for reading this and please keep my dad's spirit alive by remembering all of the amazing times you had with him.
Thank you again,
Alyssa
