BlackHeart Training Center

At BlackHeart Basketball we strive to help athletes in reaching their full potential and we understand that participation in sports provides numerous opportunities for a player's future. No matter the level of athlete, we aim to enhance a player's skill, and offer opportunities for athletic, as well as personal, growth and development.

BlackHeart Basketball provides opportunities for players at all levels. In the last five years we have helped players receive scholarships from Division I schools such as Clemson, Austin Peay, Indiana University, and Belmont University. BlackHeart has helped players to receive scholarships to play in other divisions at schools like Oakland City or St. Xavier to pursue degrees in Strategic Communication & Sports Management. We also train high school basketball teams, so that they can build lasting relationships that can benefit them for a lifetime.

Not only does BlackHeart Basketball want to continue aiding players in securing scholarships, but we want to provide the best training, programs, and opportunities for all youth in the area. Our goals are to not only provide enhanced skill development, but we aim to also offer much more. This includes classes for young children, such as pre-k programs specialized in athletics, developmental leagues, team opportunities, top notch local events, and life skills programming such as free basic tax prep lessons for teens and SAT/ACT preparation.

All money collected on GoFundMe will be applied towards the development of our BlackHeart Training Facility. The $12,000 raised provides the foundation needed for and enhanced training experience as well as improved training equipment. . Our larger training space and additional classrooms will allow us to expand the programs we can provide for young athletes as well as increase the number of kids we are able to reach. Not only will BlackHeart Basketball be able to provide additional athletic training, but additional opportunities for preschool education, tutoring, and community programming.

As a family raising our children in Evansville, we are proud to be small business owners in this city. We want to see the youth in our area succeed and want to be able to provide them with the opportunities we know that we can and we know that they deserve. Funds for the training center would allow us to continue to pursue our passion of developing basketball players and youth in the area. We are forever grateful for the opportunity that this city and all of you have provided for us and we are excited to help develop the youth and the community.
