Support Blaine Dickerson's Fight Against Cancer

An Urgent Call for Your Help & Prayers for Blaine Dickerson.

Hello, thank you for stopping by this posting. You are here for a reason, to answer the call for help and support for Blaine Dickerson.

Who is Blaine Dickerson? He has been one of my longest friendships to date. He is a friend to all, a straight forward honest guy, a gentleman, he is the host of hosts, and he is a hardworking American, who has been serving his community through all the decades that I have known him. He is known for his positive spirit as he is the 'glass-half-full' minded minority and is always good for intelligent conversations on diverse topics.

Blaine is a survivor, but this is a time that he needs help surviving.

Blaine has had an August like no other time in his life before this. Not because his refrigerator decided to stop cooling and ruined a bunch of food, not because his washing machine quit as well, and not because his cat got ill and had to have a costly surgery. None of that compares to what came up next. Blaine works as a handyman and so when he told me, that his back was giving him issues; I figured it was just normal wear and tear from working. A few days later, his back issue turned into a debilitating pain.

After going to the ER at St. Anthony's, he was admitted and the medical staff conducted tests and scans over the course of a week. Finally, the doctor came in his room with the results. It was not the news anyone expects to get. They had found tumors in his colon. It is Colon Cancer. The doctor surgically removed the cancerous colon section along with a bunch of lymph nodes. The Surgery was performed, tumors removed, and he even received staples from below the belt to the top of his stomach just for participating. However, once Blaine was coherent enough, the news got worse. The Surgeon said the cancer made it into his lymph nodes and can now come back anywhere in his body and that he has Stage 3 Colon Cancer. They want to start Chemotherapy mid October, trading one pain for another, He was sent home 4 days later disabled, and now unable to work, buy food, or pay his mortgage.

Like a lot of Americans, Blaine lives week to week on what he makes, but without work, his funds have all but run out. Without any support, Blaine is at the mercy of kind people like you, who have a big heart and who want to help. You are here to make a difference.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help Blaine with his Medical expenses, his basic living expenses, mortgage, possible travel expenses to M D Anderson if he can get in. Recovery from Chemo and many other expenses that will come up. With Gods and your help he can beat this. If he is called to heaven this will also help cover Final Expenses
