Trying to not become homeless

Donation protected
Hello everyone. This is difficult for me to do, but my wife and I are near the end of our rope.
In June of 2017, I suffered my third heart attack. I was out of work for just under a month, but the damage was done to our finances, and we had to move from where we lived in to a new place. Everything was fine and we were slowly getting back on our feet. However, I ended up having another heart attack in May of 2018. This last attack, my fourth, did enough damage to my heart where I'm not able to work as hard physically as I used to. I have since quit smoking, and have stayed diligently on my meds.
I am in the process of getting approved for disability, with back pay, but that is still some months away. I have an attorney through legal aid helping us get the disability approved. We have also been approved for Medicaid, so we now have insurance. They are also working on back pay for our out of pocket expenses dating back to June of 2017.
Because of work time lost, we ended up having to leave the place we were living. Since then, we have been fortunate enough to stay in a hotel with our dogs and cat, through the help of some friends and family. I'm currently out of work, and my wife, Kimberly, is trying her best to build her business. We have found a potential place to live, that is not far from where I will be working come this April when the tourist season starts again. The cost to get in that place is $2600. We also have to continue paying for our hotel room until we can gather the funds to move in. Unfortunately, we can't go to a shelter, because they will not accept pets, and we refuse to give them up because they are our children. This is also the reason that we can't stay with any friends or family.
So, if you have the means to help, please do. However, if you aren't able to help monetarily, please share our story. Thanks.
