McGraw Odyssey of the Mind--going to World Finals in Iowa!!
Donation protected
This amazing McGraw Elementary Odyssey of the Mind team is tackling the AI Tech-No-Art problem and we’re excited to have qualified for the OM World Finals this May, after competing in both the Regional and State tournaments.
Rainer and his team of six fellow McGraw students in grades 4-5 will be traveling to Iowa State University, accompanied by their dedicated coaches and brave parents. This trip will be transformative for all the kids and allow them to be ambassadors for northern Colorado to young people from around the world.

Odyssey of the Mind is an international education program for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. The World Finals will bring together thousands of teams from across the US and 25 other countries—including our "buddy" team (team and country will be revealed to us soon)!
The trip from NoCo to Iowa State will cost upwards of $20,000 including airfare, rental cars and lodging for all, but our coaches and parents are incredibly dedicated and willing to pay their own way. What we are asking for is your help in supporting the team expenses , which total about $7000. Any amount you can contribute will help us defray these costs for the kids.
This team worked so hard this year, beginning in November to put together a creative Odyssey of the Mind solution. And their message to anyone willing to support them is clear: This has been an incredible journey and we would all greatly appreciate your support and funding so we can share our humor with the world.
Thank you so much for your support!
