Help Honor the Life of Markis Ortiz Harris

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Markis Ortiz Harris—a kind soul, a caring friend, and a truly great person whose presence touched everyone he met. Markis passed away unexpectedly due to gun violence outside of his job on Thursday, July 24th, 2025. Markis leaves behind not only a void in our hearts but also the urgent need to give him the farewell he deserves.

We are raising funds to help cover the memorial expenses, and to honor Markis’s life in the most meaningful way possible. He brought light and warmth to our lives—always smiling, always ready to help, and always thinking of others before himself.

We want to bring family, friends, and loved ones together to celebrate his life, share memories, and say our goodbyes.
