Dear friends,
As many of your are now aware Eli and his girlfriend, Jules, had to flee their living situation a couple of weeks ago due to a person who lived with the owner of the property threatening them. This has left them homeless during a pandemic.
Eli has a good and steady job but Jules' job was tied to their living situation so she is now jobless and trying to find work.
They are in desperate need of a stable living situation but right now all the evacuees upriver who have fled the fires have swarmed into Eugene leaving all housing options very tight.
I have managed to get them into hotels and one AirBnB that rents out for a week at a time, but I am not able to financially do this indefinitely. I am asking for help to provide them with enough money to either have a down payment if they can find a room somewhere or be able to buy them additional weeks (running at approximately $600 per week) at some other hotel since this may be the only way for them to survive right now.
Anything will help and I mean that sincerely. Anything at all. Prayers, good thoughts, mental hugs all gratefully accepted.
From the bottom of this mother's heart, I thank you all for your loving and generous kindness. Blessings.
