Hello friends and family! As a lot of you know later this summer I will be moving to Los Angeles, California! Big change for this Kentucky boy! (A brief summary) For the past 3 years I’ve been living in Colorado attending Charis Bible College. The spiritual growth that has took place during college has been amazing. With that, God has given me a heart to be a protector of His creatives. A lot of the church has pushed away anything to do with a creative outlet just because of the reputation that usually comes along with it. Whether that be theatre, movies, dance, etc., but He has blessed people with creative gifts that need to be nurtured! As I embark on this journey the end goal is to have my own Safe Haven for creatives; that’ll include a theatre, dance studio, choir, etc. I want the wandering artists to have a place to come and grow. People who have been searching about trying to find the family they fit in with. The people of the LGBT+ community that have been hurt by the church, the dancer that has been told to limit their movement, the guy on the street who can’t afford that film academy. They need to know they are loved and they need to be guided to their vision! To start this amazing adventure I’ll be interning with an organization called Oasis of Hollywood for the next year. A safe haven for the kids and teens in the Hollywood are to come to and learn about the love of Christ.
