McCormick Strong Benefit

As many of you may know, my brother Erik was involved in a tragic construction accident on Friday, September 22nd while working on a jobsite in Hartford, CT. As a result of the accident, he suffered a very severe spinal cord injury. His battle began by spending two weeks in critical condition in the Hartford Hospital ICU. Currently, Erik is at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, where he is working unbelievably hard towards recovery. Many of you may know him personally. He is young and strong beyond belief. But unfortunately he still has a very long and brutal road ahead of him.

Many of us know someone who has worked, or is currently working in these dangerous lines of work just like my brother. It’s men and women like him who work to keep our society going behind the scenes. Contributing to us all having clean water to drink, roads to drive ourselves to our daily activities. Sidewalks to walk with our family and friends, and so much more. So please join us on Saturday, November 25th at the Gremio Lusitano Club at 6 p.m. To support Erik during this difficult time as best we can. One day at a time, along with love and support there is nothing we can’t overcome.
