Help the McClintock Family

Donation protected

2020 has not been easy for anyone.

However, for Jody McClintock, it's been an unfathomable tragedy.

A beloved husband, father, and Coach in the Kershaw County school system, Jody has been left in the wake of COVID19- a virus many still underestimate- without his wife and youngest daughter.

Vickie and Kristin (KK) McClintock were Jody's life, along with Jennifer and her babies.

The family all contracted the Coronavirus after school and football resumed in the fall.  Jody's beloved daughter, KK (38 years old) was the trainer for the football team, always seen smiling and riding around on the golf cart by locals in our small town.  She was happiest when with her niece and nephew, or at her dad's side; helping the football team with whatever they needed. She was her dads best friend, enjoying weeknights at the slot car drag strip the next town over, alongside her pops and family, trying to beat the locals off the line.

You may also have seen them working together to help North Central's football team work towards winning their first Regional Championship in 28 years. They loved their community, and they loved each other.

Kristin McClintock passed peacefully in her sleep on 10/23/2020.

Vickie Alls McClintock, Jody's wife and best friend of 40 years, loved nothing more than her family.  Their oldest daughter Jennifer has two beautiful children, Abigail and Christian, who loved their Maw and Aunt KK so very much.
Vickie passed away shortly after being hospitalized, on 11/01/2020. It is our families biggest blessing that she never had to hear that her baby girl had passed, just 7 days before.

Less than two weeks after contracting this bug, Jody and Jennifer were left in a position many of us could never imagine.

Unfortunately, the loss of a mother, wife and daughter isn't the only tragic experience in the wake of this bug, we are now discovering.  Our family is finding out the hard way how unprepared we were for the cost of dealing with not one, but two deaths.

Jody has applied for assistance, but aside from the hoops that must be jumped through to receive it, the interest alone is a whole different blow.

I am praying we can appeal to the many who have asked "What can we do to help?" .  If everyone threw in 5-20 dollars a piece that knows and loves this family, we could relieve Jody McClintock of the huge financial burden that accompanies the already taxing emotional loss he is forced to endure at this time.

I am asking for a little, from each of you, if possible. I know everyone has been hit by this year, but no one I know has been hit quite like this man.

His family would like to help him process this, with as little extra stress as possible. If you find it in your heart to help lift the financial strain, our family can not thank you enough.

God Bless all of you as we all continue to pull together during this incredibly tumultuous year.

Thank you on behalf of the entire McClintock family.

With love, Carter
