Hi, I'm Aaron.
I was diagnosed a few years back with leukemia (ALL). As part of my treatment, I underwent chemotherapy. The treatment did a number on my system, resulting in job and insurance loss. Bullied by the hospital billing departments, I paid off my treatments by maxing out two whole credit cards and pulling an unsecured loan.
While I'm in remission, my paychecks are being eaten alive every single time paying off my creditors; due to interest rates I'm barely making a dent in this bills. Even working a second job just helps ends meet. Paying for my current preventive treatments concurrently means I literally am living paycheck to paycheck barely pulling any savings to actually rebuild and I am regularly skipping and missing doses trying to make the money stretch. Add that to regular interval creditor calls, it means I'm holding together as best I can but it's all very tiring.
The amount requested would cover two of my three biggest creditors. These funds will help me pay off the high interest cards so I can start focusing on my current treatment and actually afford the full treatment to allow my best chance at staying in remission and rebuilding should relapse occur. If not money, then anything that would help stretch the budget from groceries to gas would be greatly appreciated.
I'm at the point where any emergency, even something as trivial as an Urgent Med visit or my car breaking down, would likely break the bank. Please help me get back my breathing room and stabilize my mental, physical, and financial health.
I appreciate your time and attention.
