Family and friends,
My best friend, Willie McBride, is facing the most trying time of his life right now. His wife, Mina McBride, was diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer a little over a year ago. Together, they have a beautiful 3 year old daughter, Sayuri McBride.
Mina has fought the good fight, but sadly she is loosing her battle with this terrible disease. She has remained strong for the sake of their daughter. For a daughter that young to see her mother this ill is unimaginable.
As many of you know, Willie is one of the kindest and most caring person you will ever meet. To see this man, who I have known for almost 40 years, go through this type of struggle is heartbreaking. I can not even imagine what he must be feeling and going through.
With summer coming, and the school year ending, the income stream for Willie, who is a teacher, will be very limited. His days will be spent by his wife's side, with their daughter, enjoying what days they have left. It is for this reason that I am asking for and hoping for, his family and friends to help ease the financial burden that he will be facing in these next coming months. Every little bit counts and helps. Please open your hearts to this wonderful family as they face the toughest challenge of their lives!
