Hello everyone,
thank you all for taking the time to pray as well as provide for the McAllister family.

This week, the family has faced yet another challenging situation.

In the early morning of December 3rd Mother, Jasmine, awoke to an alarm sounding off in their home. After a quick inspection she found that a pipe had burst in their basement which had now sufficiently began flooding the basement level.
Jasmine, along with her youngest son were the only ones in the house at the time as Father, Daniel, and the 5 older children were enjoying a camp out in the tent that their late Son and Brother, Noah, had received as his make a wish dream.

Jasmine promptly opened the door and called for Daniel to rush inside to help mitigate the situation. As Daniel was dealing with getting the water out of the basement his daughter had awoke and came inside to settle in the living room.
Only a little while after, she began screaming at the top of her lungs “FIRE! FIRE! THEY’RE ALL DEAD”!

Without hesitation Jasmine immediately picked up the phone and called 911. Daniel rushed outside to the tent that was now fully engulfed in flames where his boy's were trapped inside.

4 of the boys, along with their Dad all suffered burns as well as smoke inhalation damage. Two of their sons, Joseph (5) and Daniel Aaron (8), were intubated and put into medically induced commas in the ICU at Sherbrooke University Hospital, over an hour away from their home and are suffering with 2nd degree burns. The other 2 boys, Eli and Jacob are dealing with 1st and 2nd Degree burns on their legs, arms, hands, face and heads.

Daniel (Father), has 3rd Degree burns.

All the boys along with Father also have a multitude of superficial burns all over their bodies as well.

First and foremost the family asks for your prayers. Please pray as you are led by the Lord.

Inevitably the family is in need of financial help as they again are covering travel costs, medical bills, treatments, having to replace their children’s bedding and mattresses, food and accommodations, counselling etc.

Thank you ALL for your kindness, generosity and prayers.

For those of you who don’t know the McAllister family, here is a glimpse of what the last 2 years has entailed.

It began back in May of 2022. Their second oldest son, Noah McAllister, fell unusually ill. Noah was unable to eat, had wounds appear on his body that were not healing, and he became weak and dizzy. It was clear that this was not normal and he was rushed to the Emergency Room in Lac-Mégantic, Quebec. After blood work and brief analysis, Noah and Daniel (father) were rushed by ambulance to a bigger hospital an hour and half away. The situation was dire. Noah was given a life-threatening diagnosis of rapid onset acute myeloid leukemia. With this specific type of leukemia symptoms usually develop and progress extremely rapidly over the course of only a few weeks giving very little warning. Because it was such an aggressive form of cancer, treatment started as soon as it was diagnosed. They were blessed…Noah was received by one of the finest children’s oncology teams in Canada and within 36 hours he was receiving chemotherapy in a desperate effort to save his life.
For over a year Noah received treatments at Sherbrooke University Hospital.

Unfortunately Noah’s mom, Jasmine, was unable to travel to the hospital during this time to be with her son as he fought to live because she had to stay home with Noah’s siblings; the youngest just 5 months old at the time. Jasmine was absolutely devastated to not be able to be closer to her son when he needed her the most. The family had never been separated and Noah had never been away from his siblings. They did not have a reliable vehicle in which Jasmine could travel back and forth to see Noah and his father and so the weeks turned into months without seeing them.

Due to the specific care needed in Sherbrooke, the family had to live between two locations: Daniel caring for and supporting Noah full time at the hospital (as he was only 9 and wanted his dad) and was thus unable to work.
Jasmine and Noah’s siblings, were in Lac-Mégantic over an hour away. With the daily support needed to give Noah, they have no stable means of income while Daniel and Noah remained in hospital, and incurred more and more unplanned costs everyday.

In late October of 2023 Noah fought his last battle and went home to be with his maker.
