As all of you know and for those of you who don't know, Zoey is the most genuine, kind, and hardworking person. She does cross-fit nearly every day (sometimes even twice a day), she lovingly watches dogs for families when they're away, she plays recreational volleyball year-round, she travels the world, and loves spending time with her family. Zoey is bartending at Gastro Grub & Pub at least four nights a week and constantly coming up with new, creative ideas! She is very determined and was accomplishing every goal she had set for herself, but on her 25th birthday life had given her the worst gift of all CANCER.

Zoey had just gotten engaged to the love of her life, Corey, and they had even just bought their first home together right before she was given the diagnosis of thyroid cancer. The timing of cancer always feels like it comes at the worst possible time. Zoey will be required to take a minimum of four weeks off from work for surgery and radiation. Small restaurants are not able to afford paid time off, which is why we wanted to set up this fundraiser to try to help cover the costs of missed work and medical bills! Every little bit helps more than you know! The cancer diagnosis itself is horrible, scary, and depressing let alone the financial worry and stress of not being able to pay your medical bills or your very first mortgage! We love Zoey so much and we want to take care of her while she goes through one of the hardest stages of her life!
