Help Us Fight for Mike’s Life: A Rare Cancer Battle

Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

My name is Kristen, and I’m posting this on behalf of the Torres family — a family I love deeply and am honored to be part of through my relationship with Mike’s brother.

Our beloved Mike is currently facing the fight of his life. He’s been diagnosed with stage 4 Renal Cell Carcinoma – Chromophobe and Collecting Duct, an extremely rare and aggressive form of kidney cancer. After exhausting all available treatment options in the country, his doctors have sadly recommended focusing on “quality of life” — essentially, to stop fighting.

But we’re not ready to give up. And neither is Mike.

We’re now seeking advanced care at specialized centers outside our local system that offer hope and more targeted treatment for his rare condition. The estimated cost for these life-extending treatments is $60,000.00, and unfortunately, this is a battle we can’t fight alone.
