You Saved Lady!

Update: 10/12/23

Lady had her surgery today and all went well!! She’ll be staying at the vets for a couple nights and then going home with Courtney for some much needed cuddles. Her daddy will be back to Minnesota soon.

She was also updated on all her vaccines because we love her and we want her healthy and happy.

We found a fantastic vet to do the surgery for much less!! We have lowered our goal to reflect the new amount!!!

Hi, I’m Jennifer and I’m fundraising for Lady and her owner, Jurgan Grodhaus. Jurgan is a disabled veteran who works as an over the road truck driver. Lady is his traveling companion and all around good girl. Unfortunately, Lady was scared by a loud compressor at a delivery stop in Minnesota and bolted. She was lost for two weeks but with the help of the community she was found 10/9/23. Lady has a badly broken leg and it needs to be amputated. Lady is young and will do fine as a tri-pod but her owner needs our help to cover the very expensive surgery. We need the help of everyone. It’s going to take our whole village to raise the funds needed to save this precious girl. She has had a hard road so far in life. She spent her first year of life on a farm in a kennel and wasn’t treated well at all. Jurgan found himself at that farm with this little dog running up to him and nibbling his fingers asking for help. He answered, scooped her up and they have been joined at the hip ever since. Let’s get Lady the surgery she needs so she can get back to living her best life with her best friend!
