Support Rural Youth: Train 100 Aspiring Defense Officers
Donation protected
Introduction:
In rural India, many young men and women dream of becoming officers in the defense forces. However, due to limited resources and opportunities, most end up in lower ranks despite having the potential to lead.
The Challenge:
Rural candidates often face significant challenges, including inadequate training and lack of mentorship. Studies show that only a small percentage of rural youth make it to officer-level positions in the defense forces.
Our Mission:
Joining the Dots Foundation, in partnership with Yuvatejas Foundation, is committed to changing this. We are building a dedicated training academy in Palamaner, Andhra Pradesh, equipped with four obstacle training facilities named after heroes: Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, Captain Vikram Batra, Captain Manoj Pandey, and Major Shaitan Singh Bati. Our goal is to train 100 rural youth, providing them with the physical, academic, and leadership skills needed to succeed in the rigorous defense selection process.
Impact:
By supporting this initiative, you help create a more inclusive and diverse defense force. Your contribution will directly fund their training, ensuring these talented individuals can compete on equal footing with their urban counterparts.
