I'm Joycelyn. I live in Gastonia, North Carolina. I'm a single mom of 2 boys, 17 and 22. One is in high school and the other is in his second year of college.

Last year, I was having some pain in my right breast. After my mammogram, they wanted me to come back in and run some more tests. But because they had ended the billing cycle, my insurance would not pay for it, and I was unable to pay for it on my own. So this year, we did the test again without ending the billing cycle, and come to find out, I do have breast cancer in my right breast. But I am removing both. I've been seeing every doctor. Every: I hate to put my business out here like this, but I know God has my best interest at heart, and I will come through this as a survivor. I know it's hard before it gets better. That's my prayer. I'm hoping because that's all I can do right now.

I can't pay rent, light, gas, water etc, bills at the moment and begging everyone who are able to give me a helping hand. The stress is too much. Thanks very much for your thoughts, prayers, and care. I'm trying to raise money for myself to help me with my cancer treatments and recovery etc.

my surgeons have my reconstructive surgery except for the end of January hopefully to recover from that I should return to work with the help of God March 1st. Every little bit helps in more ways than one. I am very grateful and appreciative for all the help that I can get in this trying time.
