Let me introduce you to our friend Mike. He was diagnosed with primary progressive multiple sclerosis on March 23rd, 2023. His MS hit him hard and fast. He went from working a full time job, playing music in a band, golfing with friends, and so much more, to having all of that taken away in an instant. He has fought hard to get back what it has taken. He has done physical therapy, in patient rehab, switched to a stronger treatment which requires IV infusions every 6 months. But recently his MS has progressed more and is beginning to affect his legs and ability to drive. This is the one freedom that we don’t want taken from our friend. And with hand controls he will be able to keep his independence and ability to get himself to and from appointments and honestly just the ability to have a change of scenery when sitting at home becomes too much. This is our first priority. But the reality is, he needs more than this. He needs a lightweight electric wheelchair and some modifications to his home to make things easier. So any and all donations will be put to good use to help in these areas. Whether it’s a $1 or $100, every bit helps.
