My name is Itzhel, I’m from La Puente, CA I’m a close friend of Laura … As some of you might know Laura’s family is in need of all your prayers and support during this time. All the funds will be used to help pay for medical bills, house expenses, utilities, food and anything that brings a smile to Abby’s face.
Little Abby was diagnosed with leukemia on December 6th, 2021 . Abby is a very smart , caring and amazing little girl that deserves all possible care and treatments on her journey to recovery . Her mother Laura is an extremely hardworking , strong and amazing mom that is always there for anyone that needs her help. Everyone that knows Laura knows how much her family means to her and how much this has completely shattered her . Please let’s keep them in our prayers and help raise money for their family through this very tough time .
For more information on the situation, please read below in their own words:
“Friends, we have some tough news to share with you all and we are reaching out to ask for all your prayers.
Abby had been looking pale and for the last 3 weeks. She was having a hard time walking and we thought it was because she had fallen in the tub, however she was not getting better. She also started getting tons of bruises, finally she was out of breath and little red blood vessels started to appear in her lower extremities. I contacted my aunt and explained to her all her symptoms she immediately said “bring her tomorrow Monday for labs”. Monday afternoon my aunt called me with the results and said to take Abby to Children’s Hospital immediately. Later that night inside a conference room with a team of Doctors they gave us Abby’s diagnosis of Leukemia. We are extremely devastated, trying to be strong but completely broken inside. We are trusting God that she will be cured, However she has a long way to go. Please keep my Abby in your prayers for the years to come❤️ ”
