We have found out that our oldest daughter (38 single mother of two kids)has a malignant glioblastoma brain tumor on the left side middle of her head. Her symptoms started about a month and a half ago with her right foot feeling tingly and numb. She tried to do a couple of things to "wake it up" but nothing seemed to work. She googled a couple of different things and at first it stayed at her lower right leg and foot. She then started noticing her vision on her right side getting worse but she never put two and two together until she went to the ER a couple days later. She was not (and still not able to see out her right peripheral vision). It started progressing and getting worse right around mothers day but she had a follow up doc app the following Monday so she had planned on mentioning it to her doctor. That Monday it felt worse so she moved her app up and went that morning. This was the first time she heard the words, "there's a possibility you might have MS." She was in disbelief then and didn't believe it. The doctor scheduled an MRI but she didn't make it that long. On Wednesday that week her leg started feeling like it was on fire so I took her to the ER. The ER doc was quick to assume MS as well and ended up sending us home with that prognosis as well. The following week we met with a neurologist who was convicted to run every test and get results, we were very grateful! She has had two MRI's, a lumbar puncture and some major steroids in the past couple of weeks. We speak with the neorosurgeon Wednesday for a consultation and next steps. She is remaining hopeful! This will not get get her down! Sure this is going to be hard, but she has been through worse and come out a better person and stronger so she's overcoming this as well!! God does not give us more then we can't handle!! So with all that said she wants to say thank you in advance for all the love, prayers and support! She could definitely use them right now. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated. We love and appreciate all of you!!
