MBHS AASU Black History Field Trip

Help Mission Bay High School's African American Student Union (AASU) and ASB send students to see "Black Panther" in theaters on Feb 20. This culturally significant Marvel Super Hero Film features a Black Super Hero as the main protagonist and hero, not the sidekick. The film has a black production staff and black cast. We truly believe "you can't be what you can't see" and we want to show our African American Youth that they can be the heroes, the main characters, the instigators and leaders of social justice and can control their futures. Our goal is to raise $3000 to cover the cost of transportation (school busses), tickets and a small concession item for each student. Any additional money raised will go toward AASU Leadership Development at MBHS.
