Jesus' Love in Action: Supporting Honduras Mission

Hi, I'm Amanda.

Through New Life South Coast church, I'll be joining a dedicated team traveling to Roatán, Honduras, to continue a legacy of service that has touched countless lives over the past four years.

This mission is led by Sharon, whose heart and history with Roatán make her uniquely qualified to guide our work. Having lived on and off the island for 25+ years, Sharon has built deep connections within the community and understands exactly where help is needed most. Her vision has grown into a Holy Spirit-led outreach program that touches every corner of the island community.

Our mission is guided by Jesus Christ's call to serve others and share His message of salvation: "When they saw him, they worshiped him—but some of them doubted! Jesus came and told his disciples, 'I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you…'” (Matthew 28:17-20 NLT).

We serve:

• Local schools, where we connect with children and support their education

• Prison facilities, offering hope and compassion to those who need it most

• Rehabilitation centers, standing alongside those working to rebuild their lives

• Children's centers, providing care and support to young ones in need

Through prayer and faithful service, we work to demonstrate God's love in tangible ways. We provide essential items like clothes, shoes, and food, but more importantly, we share the transformative message of God's grace and love with everyone we meet.

This will be New Life South Coast's 4th mission trip to the island, and each year our impact grows stronger. The relationships we've built, the lives we've touched, and the souls we've reached are a testament to the power of faith in action.

The first $1,500 raised will cover my essential travel expenses to reach Roatán. Every dollar beyond that goes directly to supporting the people of Roatán through:

• Essential supplies like clothing and shoes for families in need

• Food distribution to communities facing scarcity

• Educational materials for local schools
