My name is Ashley Drake, and I am raising funds to help a local family whose furnace has failed. Stormy Campbell and Will Meadows are a hardworking couple who are the kindest and most generous people I know. As the saying goes, when it rains, it pours, and this family has seen its share of difficulties in home maintenance this year. They have worked tirelessly, trying to keep their older home alive, but it is still in need of vital items to have a winter-safe home.

The most critical need is for a new heating system for their home. We have people in place who are willing to donate their skill and time for installation. We are asking for funds to help supply the materials we will need to finish the heat project. We want to get heat to the family as expeditiously as possible, as the cold weather is here now.

Secondarily, we are saving money for a new roof installation. Helene took its toll on the already aging roof, which is now completely covered with tarping. This family has a full plate and is feeling trapped by a home that is in need of more repair than is manageable.
