Support for Ruby during lung cancer treatment, Thank you

Hello and Thank you for visiting my page:

My name is Ruby, I am 43 years old and a single mother to three beautiful sons - living with me in the UK are my two youngest boys Gabriel 14yrs and Mateus 13yrs old.

My family means the world to me and I count my blessings for the life I have and the joy of being a mother to the most wonderful boys.

In 2023 I was diagnosed with cancer in the womb and after many months of intense treatment, I was so grateful to hear that the treatment was successful and that I was finally cancer free at the beginning of 2024.

In October 2024 my worst nightmare became a reality as I was diagnosed with the dreaded lung cancer - this time the cancer was already at stage4 and the growth was rapid, expanding beyond 5 centimetres in a short space of time and spreading. I am now on my 3rd course of intense chemotherapy and will continue with the treatment to do whatever it takes to fight the cancer in my body.

I have been really struggling with the treatment this time round as it is very intense and I have now experienced the sadness of hair loss and made the tough decision to shave my head a few weeks ago. Life has been challenging and the ongoing sickness makes day to day life very difficult but I am keeping my spirits high and taking every day at a time. I pray that the cancer will leave soon.

I am truly grateful for everyone's positive energy, kind words and prayers - It means so much to me to have such wonderful people in my life.

In the first case, your support will go towards a much needed new bed as my current one isn’t doing too well (it is very old and due to the ongoing mold situation in my home, the bed frame and mattress urgently needs replacing).

I would also love to spend some quality time with my boys and treat them to a much needed mommy and me day somewhere special.

I am currently not well enough to work and finance is tight, so any contribution no matter how small would be very much appreciated and will help me so much.
