My family is seeking help to get my husband to his dying father for one last goodbye . We have recently fallen on to very hard times and have zero and I mean zero dollars. My husband was scheduled for a much needed spinal fusion in June but was denied by our insurance carrier Cigna. We have filed an appeal three months ago... We are still waiting to hear back ( thanks Cigna for not considering what your "denials" do to people lives) Since then he has been unable to work and as the only money maker of the house (supporting a total of 6), in a home where we live pay check to pay check .... We are in a desperate place. My husbands dad Wes Glission has just been moved to hospice care
in Florida diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and throat cancer among other life ending ailments. He is a older sweet gentleman, a veteran (as is my husband) and has lived a full life . In the past 20 years my husband has only been able to see him 3 times due to the expense of travel. Wes is going to heaven soon and I am on a mission to raise enough money to allow my husband to say goodbye to his sweet dad. Ideally we would go scoop him up and bring him to hospice here in Co but we simply have no money to make this happen. We are hoping and praying that people see this and donate. Every donation helps small or large. We need to raise his money quickly( starting today Sept 8th) as we don't know how long Wes will still be with us. Anyone who has ever loved anyone can understand our desperation. All you dads and sons out there imagine if this was your story. We are praying lots and hoping for a miracle. Please consider
