As many of you know, I have been fighting Stage 3C breast cancer since March of 2018. Next month I start the final stage...28 days of radiation treatment. While I am looking forward to the finish line, it has not always been easy. I was a temp when diagnosed, paying for my own insurance...then I couldn't work due to the treatment's side effects on me. Long story short, I went through my savings, and now find myself struggling to pay my personal and medical bills. I hope to go back to work after radiation, and have started the process of applying for SSDI for the time I have not been able to work. But as many of you know, that usually gets denied the first time. And although Stage 3 breast cancer is on the SSDI list, it will take some time.
   I know it's a tough time of year to ask for help, and believe me, it's not something I wanted to do..at all. When I hopefully receive disability, I will start paying those that have helped back. I am embarrassed to ask for help, but will pay it forward for sure after I beat this cancer! Thanks for all the support I have already received, and continue to receive.
