Mazzaferro’s has been serving loyal customers in Central New York since 1915. Over that time, the family-owned business has become a beloved fixture in the community. On April 29, 2022, a fire completely destroyed the market. While longtime employees and patrons stopped to observe the somber scene, the Mazzaferros immediately began planning for the recovery effort. Despite the challenges posed to small businesses over the last several years, closing the doors permanently was never an option, as co-owner Brian Mazzaferro told a reporter at the scene, “We're going to build back strong…tenfold!”
In keeping with the persistent spirit of our community, let’s rally to support the Mazzaferros as they rebuild. All funds will be used exclusively to support the recovery effort. We will post updates here along the way as we prepare for a grand re-opening! As always, thank you for your support. Without our community, none of this would be possible. We’ll be back and better than ever!
