Help Maywood Equestrian build a safe surface arena

Hi all, I'm Katt Blakemore.

I'm raising funds for an all-surface arena at my horse riding school in the Gympie, Queensland area.

As many have experienced, the weather events of 2021 and 2022 has had devastating effects on our community, and with conditions set to continue for the remainder of the year a plan for improving horse and rider safety is paramount. The flooding MayWood Equestrian and many other small businesses endured earlier this year has completely destroyed what was once a safe riding surface. This results in a loss of business, and some very disappointed young riders who have missed countless lessons due to unsafe riding conditions.

An opportunity to renovate our current riding arena and upgrade the riding surface means the small weekly rain showers will no longer cause complete cancellations. This will then allow for the continuation of programs and fund the ever-growing feed bill for our beautiful herd of school horses.

We thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support over the last twelve months. We would love the ability to provide our clients with greater riding opportunities with your continued support.
