Founded in 1976 MAYSO has provided a quality soccer program for boys and girls in the greater Manatee County Florida area. MAYSO emphasizes FUN, character development, teamwork, sportsmanship and loyalty through leadership, by example from our Board Members, Trainers, Coaches, Volunteers and Parents.

Manatee Area Youth Soccer Organization is founded on cooperation with desire to uphold equal opportunities for all children who desire to play the world’s game. We provide levels of play through balanced recreational and progressive competitive stages that promote positive fundamentals for youth development. We work with parents, coaches and players with essentials that promote the spirit of the game and measure success by the effectiveness of our development programs NOT by our team(s) record. Dedicated to youth development is our commitment to invest in the future of our community and in the sport of soccer.

The current 15-year old school-room portable has seen better days! With its leaky roof and dry-rotted wood paneling ……
It can no longer meet the needs of the organization and we are required to demolish the building or replace it.

MAYSO is raising money to build a new modern clubhouse, with space for equipment storage, an administrative office and a conference room for teams to hold whiteboard and video training sessions.

MAYSO is one of the oldest non-profit 501(c)3 soccer organizations in the state of Florida, developing young soccer players since 1976 playing competitively or recreationally and gaining a love for the world’s game while developing social and team building skills. Over these 40 years, MAYSO has assisted 25,000+ boys and girls get in front of the ball, trust in their teammates and score to realize their goals!

Every child, volunteer, parent, coach, sponsor and any other person that has touched this organization has made MAYSO successful. In order to continue this winning streak, we need to pass the ball to you! We need you to help us help your children, the community and soccer! Join us in building a new clubhouse to further the influence this historic soccer program has on your community and your children!
