Hi everyone, I’ve turned to GoFundMe to help relieve the heavy financial burden of Tyson’s emergency medical expenses so that I can focus on what matters most, saving my baby boy.
Tyson is my five-year-old Lab-Husky doggy with the most beautiful blue eyes and the sweetest soul. He isn’t just my dog, he’s my family, my world.
I’ve had Tyson since he was just a few months old, and from the very beginning he’s been incredibly attached to me. When he was little, he would cry just for me to pick him up and fall asleep in my arms. He’s always been sweet, loving, energetic, and full of happiness. Seeing the way he is now truly breaks my heart.
Over the past weeks, Tyson’s health has declined very quickly. It began with vomiting and nausea, followed by a complete loss of appetite. He will not eat anything. Therefore, he has lost a significant amount of weight and has become extremely dehydrated and skinny. The loving dog who once greeted everyone with excitement and endless love is now weak, tired, and clearly not himself. He has become so weak that he often won’t even get up anymore, which is heartbreaking knowing how he used so be such an energetic soul, full of joy.
Watching him struggle, knowing he doesn’t understand what’s happening to his body, has been one of the most painful experiences of my life. During the surgery, doctors discovered a tumor compromising three of his organs. While we are still waiting on the biopsy results, we are actively researching gastrointestinal specialists and other advanced veterinary specialists who can take over Tyson’s care. These specialists are expensive, but they offer him the best chance at effective treatment, recovery, and the highest chance of survival. No matter the cost, we are committed to doing everything we can to give him the opportunity to heal. But, every day that passes feels like a race against time.
So far, I’ve spent around over $5,000 on emergency exams, imaging, IV fluids, medications, surgery, and care just to get answers. Many tests had to be done multiple times to monitor changes.
Anyone who has ever had a sick pet knows how overwhelming these costs can be, especially when you want to do everything possible to help them feel better. Tyson is a very anxious dog and needed special supervision throughout this process, which made everything even more complex but I would do it all again in a heartbeat, just for him.
Tyson is my baby. He has been with me growing up, and I cannot imagine my life without him. All I want is to give him the chance to heal, to feel better, and to be the happy, loving dog he once was: running around, wagging his tail, and looking at me with those bright blue eyes full of life and love.
I am asking for help to cover the cost of his surgery and continued care. Any donation, no matter how small, could help save his life. If you’re unable to donate, even sharing this fundraiser could make a difference.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for taking the time to read Tyson’s story, for caring, and for helping us.
