In Maysaa's own words

"My name is Maysaa, I am 20 years old, from Rafah city. I live with my family of 8 members. My mother passed away 10 years ago. We have been living with my stepmother since then. We were living in Rafah city before October 7th and the war on Gaza began. It was a very bad war as we are suffering from very bad conditions. The occupation forced us to leave Rafah city and move to the humanitarian areas in the middle of the Gaza Strip. After our house was bombed and destroyed, our beautiful memories were destroyed and we became homeless. We are experiencing a bitter war and loss. We rented a house to live in for a rent of about $400 USD

a month. We all live there despite the difficult circumstances, but this is our only solution and there is no other solution. We are living in very difficult conditions as we suffer from difficulty in obtaining water and all the necessities of life. My little sister was 9 years old during this aggression when the occupation bombed a nearby house and now they are suffering because of her injury. We are living in very difficult conditions. My father is an elderly man, we have no source of income, and we lack all the necessities of life. We can't find anything to eat, and we struggle to get water. From afar, life is very difficult and expensive, and we can't find bread or anything to feed the hungry children. I hope that my friends and everyone who sees or hears about my family will stand with us and help my family and my children. I hope that they will save us from this suffering and help us provide the appropriate conditions for a decent life. This is what we dream of, and what one dreams of is our situation.This is what we want is a small house. We are cold"

Please help Maysaa and her family survive in Gaza. She has a small group of people in Canada helping her as much as we can, but the situation gets worse everyday and she can use all the help she can get. please consider helping if you can.

We are in touch with Maysaa daily, and have been able to get her funds over the past few months using several methods.

She has support from people living in Ontario and British Columbia, but we are hoping to reach more people.
