May's Leukemia Treatment
Donation protected
Hi, I'm McKenzie, and on February 3, 2021, my sister-in-law, May, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).
I'm writing this on April 13, 2021, and we are in urgent need of your help to save her life so that she can see her young son, Evann, grow up. Every day that passes, we get closer to losing our dear May. Every moment counts, and every penny matters deeply to us. We are eternally grateful for any amount you can spare. Your donation will go directly to her life-saving treatment.
Her treatment began in February with a few rounds of the recommended chemotherapy, but her condition did not improve, and instead it got worse. The ALL spread to her brain and she was diagnosed with Lupus, which is attacking her healthy tissue and organs. Her new recommended treatment includes two options: stem cell treatment or targeted treatment. She's on a waiting list for stem cell treatment, but they cannot start it until they find a match for her. Targeted treatment is now our best hope and has a high success rate, but it is very expensive and not covered by her insurance. We are asking for your help as our family has already given what we can to cover her medical expenses to date.
Thank you for reading this and considering helping our May. If you aren't able to help, we ask that you please share this page to spread the word!
Much love,
McKenzie
