Mays Family Tornado Relief

My name is Nicholas Mays, my address is 122 Winchester Rd S, London KY. My family home is a total loss from the EF4 southeastern Kentucky tornado in London KY on May 16th 2025. We have nothing, but our safety. Vehicles, etc, everything gone. I am married and have 3 small children ages 8, 6, and 4. We are all safe. Please help me.

Story time: I was on my front porch when the storm hit and I heard the "freight train whistle." Trees bent, deafening hissing and I felt the pull, the type of pull you never want to feel for yourself. 2 of my children were asleep in the living room. I yanked them by their necks from the air mattress and dragged them into the bathroom as they began to scream and cry. In pitch black darkness, I yelled for my wife who had my 4yo daughter in our bed. As she rounded the corner into the bathroom, the roof ripped off over our heads. This all happened in about 10 seconds.

We fell to the ground and I didn't know what to do. I bear hugged my wife Tyneal, my sons Charlie, Clifton, and daughter Violet. The walls rocked, the floor began to buckle. I felt my body begin to rise and wobble, just a few centimeters...and it let me go. I have NEVER felt such powerlessness in my entire life. I knew at this very moment, I would fail them, I would fail my wife of 10 years and my kids. Love is unstoppable, but so is an EF3, apparently. I saved them. For a moment, I was the hero.

The screaming roar and shaking walls lasted another 30 seconds...and it was over. My older inlaws were sleeping in an RV in the driveway with our 5yo neice when it hit. The RV was tossed 200 feet and landed on my neighbor's deck. They are hurt, but they walked away.

I don't know what to do, I am broken, I am overwhelmed. We need financial support, we need love, we need everything. Funds would go to food, bills, transportation, loss of income/unable to work, work travel, disaster relief, inlaw support, housing, clothing, home supplies/repair, rebuilding our lives. I am very aware that we are the lucky ones. I am humbled to pieces by ANY help you can give at all. Please know you are enriching the lives of my favorite people, of the best people you could know.
