Mayra & Pepe's family

My name is Ana Amaré and I am a close friend of Mayra and Pepe Rodriguez. I live in Houston and I have known them for twelve years. 

Mayra and Pepe, and their three sons (Marcelo 8, Patricio 5, and Luciano 2) are victims of the recent flooding brought on by Hurricane Harvey in Houston. Their subdivision completely flooded and their house continues to have three feet of standing water. The family was evacuated and left their home empty-handed. The water in their home and neighborhood is expected to remain standing for the next two weeks. They don't know when they will be able to return.

As many Houstonians who did NOT live in a flood zone, Mayra and Pepe did not have flood insurance.  All of the funds raised through this campaign will go directly to Mayra and Pepe to help them rebuild and repair their home, replace their belongings, and cover transitional housing and living expenses.
