For those of you who do not know me my name is Zoila and I am one of Mayra’s best friend.
It's with the heaviest heart that I am setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of my friend, Mayra Franco.
I come to you today to Celebrate the life of my dear friend. Mayra’s life was taken away from us too soon and it is hard to understand why tragic things like this happen to such good people.
Today I come to all of you who knew her and ask for your contribution to support her family; and her sons Christian and Giovanni during these trying times; to help celebrate her life and provide her with the appropriate funeral services that she deserves and lay her to rest. Funds are low and not enough and your help is needed. ALL funds collected will be handed to her brother Efren and her Mom Juanita to cover all funeral expenses.
To know her was to love her. I know all of us that were fortunate enough to share a bit of our lives with her has fond wonderful memories to share. Her contagious laughs and smiles, and her crystal beauty will remain in us forever.
Mayra was an intelligent, caring, thoughtful and generous person. She was very close to her friends and family and had a lot of people who cared about her and loved her.
Mayra always lived her life to the fullest and loved to laugh and smile. We have been through a lot over the years, but no matter where life took us we knew we could count on one another.
It isn’t possible to put into words the importance of friendship and how much Mayra meant to me. I know we will all miss her with all of our hearts. Mayra, we will miss you forever and I will never forget all of the time we spent together since we were 11 years old.
